You start the game with a small village and a tutorial to get your going. During the tutorial you learn the basics of the game. Population

By carefully balancing the tax rate, you can keep a high population to score the maximum in taxes and the maximum in armies. Raise population by building and upgrading cottages. Once established, you can reduce taxes to increase population, or you can upgrade the tavern.

Cities

There are a few reasons to spread your cities out like this. First and foremost, if you are attacked by an opposing player and that player conquers one of your cities, it will not be difficult for him to overcome the other one right next to it. At least, that was the option I chose, although I was a bit confused and thought I was selecting the language when I hit the US flag.

Resource-heavy

Basically, you build up your base as you'd expect, creating barracks to train units, mess halls to feed them, and power stations to provide electricity etc.

Fight!!

 In terms of the action, this happens in Campaign mode, where you fight around the globe.

Battles are similar to classic Nintendo game Advance Wars, as there's a split screen and your chosen units fight it out automatically with the enemy.

You can load out your mix of troops or just hit the auto-deploy button.

Gameloft has tweaked the gameplay a little too, adding some quicktime elements so you swipe enemy rockets out the way, and detonate mines etc. And this is where you use your power ups.

Of course, you can also fight other players via the Online mode, adding Allies and gifting them stuff. You populate your friends list either using Facebook or Gameloft Live.

Just released on iOS, cheap clash of clans gems  and out soon for Android, we'll be keeping an eye out to see how World at Arms performs in this highly competitive and lucrative sector.

A great tip for staying alive and avoiding three-star scenarios while defending is to place a random building at the edge of the map,cheap coc gems  out of sight. This will mean the enemy has to split their troops, will run out of time while attacking, or will simply not realise that you had a building there at all!
